English and Thai are stored at intake, not translated on display. No on-demand display conversion is needed.

That means both languages are authoritative from the moment a message lands. A bilingual room reads the same source instead of waiting for a translate step.

Images work across both languages too. When an image is sent in Chat, Lasagna can read its text with OCR and convert that text into English and Thai. The original image remains the source; OCR and translation are aids.
